Saskatchewan offers the space, balance and lifestyle to build both your career and your life.
Located in the heart of Western Canada, the province is known for its welcoming communities and strong sense of connection — making it easier to settle in and feel at home.
Alongside this, the cost of living remains highly accessible, with more space and affordability than many comparable locations. As of Q4 2025, the average house price is around $329,000 (approximately £176,000), making home ownership far more achievable.
Day-to-day life is also refreshingly straightforward. With an average commute of around 20 minutes, you’ll have more time outside of work and a better overall balance.
Saskatchewan’s scale is a big part of its appeal. At 2.7 times the size of the UK with a much smaller population, there is a real sense of space — alongside access to around 100,000 freshwater lakes, forests and open landscapes.
With nearly 2,400 hours of sunshine each year, Saskatchewan is one of the sunniest provinces in Canada, supporting an active, outdoor lifestyle year-round.
